Hello all....

Over the weekend, I went to my local FHC and did some research. I had been
trying to find out if Whitney BLACK was actually Joseph Whitney BLACK. I was
able to prove my theory as correct. Therefore, I have new 'people' I am
researching.

Joseph W. BLACK (aka: Whitney) b. 1830 in New York. He is the son of Joseph
Whitney Black Sr. b. approx. 1794 in PA or Connecticut and NANCY GARDNER b. in
NY or PA.

They came to Michigan in about 1840.

Joseph W. BLACK, Jr. married Abigail JAGUA in St. Joseph County, MI. At least
one child resulted from this marriage: Franklin BLACK.

Joseph W. BLACK Jr. also married a women named Mary. They had the following
children:

Myron BLACK
Earnest BLACK
True BLACK

Whitney (aka: Joseph) spent his entire Michigan based life in St. Joseph
County, Michigan and mostly in Three Rivers, St. Joseph County, MI.
