No they are not and I do not have any Hensley's in Ill and my Mary C.
Hensley married a Sharp. My Beard married a Black. (You could make a
joke out of that one :)

In my father's baby book it indicates that his ggrandmother's maiden
name was Mary Beard. I have since found evidence, including marriage
license, that her name was Mary Ann Hensley b.c. 1839, daughter of
Henderson Covington Hensley of Marion Co. IL.
I'm sure that there must be a connection somewhere, and there certainly
are a lot of Beards in Marion Co. at the same time, but for now it is a
missing piece of the puzzle. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
