Subject: [BLACK-L] BLACK migration

HI everyone:

I have only one BLACK so far, Eleanor R. BLACK. She was born in Ill.
according to the 1880 Iowa census.. Her mother was born in ( it's hard to
read) it either says Ten. or Pen. I assume that means Tennessee or
Pensylvania. Her father was born in Ky.
So I quess the migration pattern is Ky>Ill>Ia.

I'm inclined to think that her mother was born in Tennessee. Eleanor married
Charles Angell, on April 4, 1849, location unknown. She was born Sept. 27,
1828 in Clark Co., Ill. and died Feb. 27, 1898 in Butler Co., Iowa. She is
burried at Antioc Cemetary (location E-3) in Butler Co., Iowa.

If you have any information please let me know.
Dee
