Hi Folks,
It's been a while since I sent out a post on my "elusives." Maybe someone
has something to offer.

Frederick BLACK born bef.1750 lived & owned land in Ashe County, N.C.
According to the "Miller Families of Ashe County, N.C." written by Danny
L. Miller, Frederick's wife was Barbara??

Their son: Jacob (or could be Joseph Jacob) BLACK was married to Sarah
Sallie MILLER, daughter of Daniel MILLER & Katherine KOONTZ.

Their Children:
Catherine BLACK m. Simeon WOODIE
Michael BLACK m. Mihaly BROWN
Sheba BLACK
Daniel BLACK m. Louisa MILLER

It is possible that Frederick was the son of Jacob SWARTZ of Stokes Co.,NC. I
strongly believe that he was part of the SWARTZ family that changed their name
to BLACK ca.1770-which had migrated from PA or MD.

I would greatly appreciate any info. or leads. And would happily exchange
info.
