I saw your posting about Mortimer Black. I have traced Adeline back to
being born in Georgia around 1813-1815.

I too think she is related to Mortimer and Nathaniel. My hunch comes
from the household proximity in the 1850 Cherokee Co. AL census.
Adeline (BLACK) MURPHY, Nathaniel BLACK and Mortimer BLACK are living
within a few households of each other.

What other info do you have to support this familial relationship? I
have not been able to establish parents for Adeline, although I have
narrowed it down to about 10 BLACK families in the 1820 GA census.
