on 1844 tax list for Benton Co. Ala
after 1845 resided Cherokee Co. Ala. near Turkeytown

4 Benjamin Franklinm Margaret Dykes
5 Abraham Pinckneym Martha Ann Hooper

Both Mortimer and Minerva d. early in l865, children lived with
grandfather Whorton.
James Migrated into Arkansas ca.1886 Independence county
Frank to Denton , Texas where he ran a hotel

I believe Mortimer had a brother named Nathaniel and a sister named Adeline
maybe more

Mortimer listed as security for James Black in settlement of estate of
Agness Black 1839 in Benton Co Ala. also mentioned in connection with
estate is John Black and Col. James Black Who was she/they???????
