Subject: [BLACK-L] Online: The New Search Engine Server
Date: Tue, 12 May 1998 23:09:54

Hello everyone, This was sent to me today by Brian Leverich of RootsWeb.
This is especially useful for new members to our lists, but useful to
everyone. Please don't overload the system though:) and if you can't
access the sites, just try back later, they are new are still being tested
to an extent and a lot of people are going to be trying these places at
once so be patient if you can't get right in. For those of you who have
donated money to rootsweb, you can give yourself a little pat on the back
because it's thanks, in part, to your contributions that made this search
engine possible. For those that haven't, this is what your money goes
for:) Also towards the end there is a short explanation of future projects
that donors money will go towards. Good luck.
