My husband's ahnentafel is as follows:

1 Craig Call Black (b. 1932) - 1) Sabra Bowman; 2) Constance
Hockenberry; and 3) Mary Elizabeth King

2 Arthur Proctor Black (b. 1900) = Mary Nichols

4 William Francis Black (b. 1868) = Hattie Pamela Lovell

8 Samuel Robert Black (b. 1841) = Emma Frances Call

16 William Black (b. 1805) = Rebecca Benson

32 Joseph Black (b. c. 1780??) - (in 1804) Abigail McClung

64 ?? Thomas/Joseph/ or Samuel?? Black (found in Greenbrier Co.
census)

The Blacks apparently started out in Greenbrier Co., VA (now West
VA) and moved from there almost directly to Kearney, Nebraska, where
nos. 32, 16, 8, and 4 were buried.

Any help on the early Blacks would be greatly appreciated.
