My Black family is not well documented, and has been difficult to trace.
I've only been able to trace them thus far to the 1880 Sherbourne Co, MN
census.

1.John Black (b. ca. 1832 in Eng.) d. unknown
married Priscilla _____ sometime before 1860. She was born ca. 1842
in ME.
2.Henry (b. 1862 MN)
2.William Taylor Black b. Oct 28, 1866, MN d. Dec. 5, 1919, IN?)
m. MAry Frances Cowherd (b. Oct 4, 1872, d. Jul 2 1961, Lousiville,
KY) They lived in IN just across the river from Louisville until his
death.
3.Ada Black (b. June 10, 1898, Shelby Co, KY?; d. 1984, IN) m.
Charles Pectol
3.Sarah Ellen Black (b. ca. 1905 IN, d. 1960s)
3.Clara Dot Black (b. 1909 IN)
3.Frances Black (b. 1900 IN)
3.William Haven Black (b. Dec. 31 1911, IN, d. Dec. 14,1994 CO)
2.Lorry Black (b. 1871, MN)
2.Albert Black (b. 1873, MN)
2.John Black (b. 1875, MN)
2.Robert Black (b. 1876, MN)
2.Lucy Black (b. 1878, MN)
2.Ina Black (b. 1879, MN)

I'm not sure when John came over from England, and have lost them any
further back. Any help would be appreciated.
