BLACKS from NC to AL. In 1840 Polly Black (with 4 males and 4 females)
lived in Lawrence Co, AL; I don't know her husband's name for sure. Mary
Ann Black (1823-1912) married Leroy ADAIR abt 1841. Possible brothers
who lived nearby: Edward (1821); Hampton (1828); John (1822). I would
love to hear from researchers who are familiar with the migration of
Black families to AL. Thanks so much!
