HI,
I posted my line (such as it is :) and want to clarify that I need to touch
base with folks researching the BLACK surname 1890-1940 in northeast
Arkansas (i.e, Blytheville) and later Memphis TN (a/o 1936, when my
ggrandmother, Lillie BLACK Anthony Bishop was killed).

According to her obit (1936), Lillie had 4 brothers living in Memphis.
They are not named, and all I know (from memory) is Samuel and possibly
Charles. A possible connection to Samuel's line in Memphis is BAKER, e.g.,
Johnny Baker, a grandson who would now be 40.

Anybody out there connected?
Hoping,
Christine
