Here's some notes on my Henry Black who was born in KY but also lived in IL.
Lived in Kentucky in 1800's. Other Places of residence: Gregg twp., Morgan
Cnty., Indiana in 1850; Neoga Precinct, Cumberland Cnty., Illinois in 1860;
Mill Crk., Washington Cnty., Kansas in 1870;-Henry was 68 on the 1870 census.
On the 1850 census there were 10 children living at home, the oldest,James, on
down to Martha. On the 1860 census James, George and Mary were not living at
home with Henry and Dicy. James was married and living next door. On the
1870 census John, Franklin and Joshua are the only children still at home.
John was 24 yrs. of age; Benjamin Franklin was 18 and Joshua was 16.
Marriage date and County found in old KY. Marriage Records from 1820 to 1850 -
B420 Black, Henry B650 Brown, Dicey 11 Sep 1832.
