My grandparents Boswell Carnegie BLACK(b 1861, Drummond Australia) took a
second wife after my grandmother's (Jeanette Lichtenwalter) death at
Winchester, Illinios in 1899. Boswell married Mary M. Fletcher of
Winchester later the same year.

Boswell was an evangelist for the Church of Christ in Illinois from
1896-1899. I have a copy of some unidentified local newspaper in 1898
which says he preached every night for ten successive weeks at a revival
in Roodhouse, sometimes to crowds so large the revival was moved to the
opera house. He was a contributor to letters to the Christian Standard,
the Winchester Times.

Anyone who is interested in the Winchester area during these years should
contact me as I have a number of old news copies and program lists with
other people's names on them
