Subject: Origins Black Family - John Taylor Black

I am trying to find more about the family of my great-grandfather, John Taylor
Black and hope that they are some cousins out there who can help.
John Taylor was born in 4/14/1890 in Dardanelle (Yell Co.) Arkansas. His
father was James A. Black. James was born in Illinois (one of the few family
members that I have that are/weren't Southerners) in 10/1867. James wife,
Cora Henry was born in Arkansas in 2/1877. Because of Cora's age and one entry
in Arkansas marriage accounts, I believe that James was married previously and
she was John Taylor's mother (i.e. Nancy Prince, m. 5/13/1886).
By 1900, the family had moved to Howard Township, Conway Co. Arkansas. The
census cites that James mother was born in England and his father born in
Pennsylvania. Cora's father and mother was from Mississippi.
I have been frustrated on my surname line for many years. Anyone feedback
that would help is appreciated.
