Looking for information on the following family:

James Black b. 11-8-1812 d. 7-2-1897 from Cleveland County, North Carolina
m. Jemima (maiden name Ledford, I believe) b. 6-21-1819 d. 11-21-1901

I have copies of the 1850, 1860 and 1870 Cleveland County census' for James
and Jemima.

Jemima is listed as a daughter in the will of Rebecca Ledford which was
probated on 10-4-1870. Others that were listed are Rebecca Whisnant -
daughter, Christena Ledford - granddaughter, Rebecca L London - granddaughter,
Frederick - son. James and Jemima are buried in Mt Moriah Church Cemetary in
Caser, North Carolina - Cleveland County.

I am descended through their oldest son John Frank - I have been unable to
find a tombstone for John Frank Black, although his Civil War marker is
located in the same cemetary as his parents grave (Mt Moriah Church Cemetary).
I assume that this was used for his headstone.

John's first wife was Nancy Self b. ca 1841 d. bef 1880 (I believe her
father to be William Self)

They had the following children:

After Nancy died, John Frank married Eliza Hunt Candry. She was the daughter
of Adam and Elizabeth Hunt and she had been married the first time to GW
Candry.
John Frank and Eliza had the following children:

John Frank was in the Civil War - I have his pension application and his
military records are on order from the National Archives.

I then descend through his son John Thomas Black:

John Thomas Black married Sarah Cordelia Wright (Daughter of George Washington
Wright and Martha Willis Wright) on 12-21-1893. They had five daughters:

Ida Black is my great-grandmother. She married John Lawson McSwain on
2-1-1914.
They had seven children - I descend from Bonnie Edward McSwain

My grandfather, Bonnie Edward McSwain, married Sarah Emma Page and had five
children. My mother is Emily Nora McSwain.

I am looking for any information on James and Jemima Black, John Frank Black,
John Thomas Black, Ida Black McSwain - their descendants, parents, anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Am willing to share copies of any of
the information that I have.
