1. John Black - Born @ 1820's, County Sligo, Ireland. Reported to have
worked for the Revenue Service of England. Nothing else is known so far
on this John.

2. John Black - Born 31 Jul 1846, County Sligo, Ireland. Married Lucy
CHAPMAN 9-4-1870 Owen Township, Winnebago County, IL. Immigrated to the
US in 1848 to Pennsylvania, lived there for 8 years then moved to
Illinois. Successful farmer and politician in Winnebago Co, IL.

Parents: Charles BLACK (21 Nov 1821 - 2 Nov 1901) & Elizabeth "Eliza"

IL. Married Bessie FAIRCHILD about 1898.
