MARY BLACK was born 25 Aug 1823 in NC. She married LEROY ADAIR abt 1842,
prob in Lawrence Co, AL. She died July, 1912, in Lawrence Co, AL.
Children included: Emmaline, James, Calvin, Mary Jane, Hiram, Sarah,
Elizabeth Ellen, Thomas A., Levi, Frances, and James Westly. Is anyone
else researching this family? I have been told that she probably is the
daughter of John and Mary [unknown] Black, but I have no documentation.
Is there a source of Black genealogy that might be helpful?
