For the past two years or so I've been trying to find out more about my
ancestor Harriet BLACK and her family- without success. According to
various census reports she was born in VA about 1812. She married Isaac
WESTFALL in Miami Co., OH in 1833. As Isaac was only 17 at the time, their
marriage license was signed by a Rankin WESTFALL, who again was married to
a Martha BLACK (a sister of Harriet's?).
The Westfall family moved west, Harriet died in Jasper Co., MO in 1883.

Unfortunately, I do not know anything about her parents or possible
siblings. A possible father could be Moses BLACK, who lived in Miami Co.,
OH.

Any ideas or help will be highly appreciated, I'm desperate!
