If you can, get the census for the County Chattanooga is in for 1920 and
look for him in it. Also look in the 1900 census. These 2 census', along
with 1880 I believe, give the birth location for not only the person the
info is about, but it will also give his parents birth location. It will
also give you the months of when he was born. This will do that for both
him and his wife and if they have children, it will give it for their
children as well their birth dates and locations. If you know where he was
married, you can look in the census taken the following time for that
area..ex if he was married in 1875 in Wilkes Co., GA, look in the Wilkes
Co., census for 1880. If u find him in enough census' you can track a
migration pattern for him. Hope this helps. oh, one last note, if you
can't search those census yourself, you can probably go to the KY or GA
genweb pages and ask someone there to look it up for you. Good luck.
