1. Elizabeth1 Black was born Abt. 1800 in SC. She married Sion Strickland1
Abt. 1818, son of Aaron Strickland and Christianna Hill.
Notes for Sion Strickland:
Source: Margaret (Strickland) Hartzog's Bible; presently (1997) it is in the
possession of Lonie (Hartzog) Howell. The Bible was instituted in MDCCXVI
(1816). It is the 24th edition and in poor condition, with the back and front
torn off.

Could this be the Sion Strickland listed in George Town District, SC

There is also a John Wilson in the same county.

Abt. 1845. He married (2) Mary Frances Little3 Feb 21, 1860 in Barbour Co.,
AL, daughter of John Little and Martha.

Ruby Strickland (Uncle Cary's daughter) has a certified copy of this marriage
from the Barbour Co., AL Marriage Records.
