My gg grandmother Mary Jane Black b 13 Jan 1848 in Copiah Co MS d 13 Aug =
1922 Copiah Co MS. Married a William P Bill Miller 16 Aug 1866 in =
Copiah Co MS.
Her father, my ggg grandfather, Henry Black b abt 1818 in LA or MS. =
Date of death not known but possibly abt 1850 in probably Hinds or =
Copiah Co MS. Married Eliza Parker 4 Feb 1847 in Raymond Hinds Co MS.
I believe Henry Black b 1818 to be the son of Charles and Rebecca Brewer =
Black.
Charles Black b 10 Feb 1795 in LA or GA. Married Rebecca Brewer 28 Sep =
1816 in St Tammany Parish LA. They had 6 to 8 children. 1. Their son =
Henry mentioned above. 2. Another son was Jesse W Black b 1820-1830 who =
married Mary Ann Parker (sister to Eliza Parker) on 29 Jun 1852 in =
Hinds Co MS. 3. A daughter Louranie J Black b 1820-30 who married =
Leroy Parker (brother to Eliza Parker) on 22 Nov 1853 in Copiah Co MS. =20
I believe Charles Black b 1795 to be the son of Henry Black b abt 1770 =
in GA/VA/SC and died about 1830, possibly in Frankin Co GA. =20
