I would love to post a BLACK line, but I don't have one. I
understand that there were two HOPE sisters from the Pittsburgh /
Mifflin, Allegheny county area that married two BLACK brothers. My
understanding is that their names were Saul and Jake. this is all I
know and I have posted this before, but with out any success. I also
"understand" that these families moved to Kansas.

I am actually more interested in the HOPE sisters and their history
than the BLACK side, but I would take what I can get.

The HOPE family came over from England about 1828 according to a
biography in Pittsburgh. These sisters were either born in England
(there were boys born in 1822, 1826 & 1828) or they were born after
the arrival.

Thanks

Teri
