My g-g-grandmother was Mary Black(15 June 1797-12 October 1868-Botetourt =
County,VA) who married Solomon Simpson on July 24, 1819 in Botetourt =
County, Virginia. They had the following children in Botetourt County, =
VA : James B.(my g-grandfather)(about 1821-1870) who married 1. Mary =
Jane Wagoner 2. Ann Matilda Haslip Kelly; Elizabeth(about 1829-?); and =
Thomas(about 1831-?) I believe that Mary Black Simpson's parents were =
Jonathan and Eve Black. Does anyone know anymore on the above Black =
family of Botetourt County, VA?
