I am searching for information on the ancestors of Samuel Black.

BLACK Samuel, born 8 July 1808, Washington Co. Pa.
died 27 July 1865, Trenton Ia. buried Green Mound Cemetery.

Married Mary Adamsom, 3 July 1831, Champaign Co. Oh.
Mary, born 1831 in Pa. died 11 July 1887.

Samuel served in the Civil War at the age of 54 in one of Iowa's
Greybeard units. One son Thomas also served in Civil War. Both are
buried at the same cemetery. Samuel and Mary had six children. It is
believed the family moved to Iowa sometime between 1834 and 1842.
