(1)John Wesley Black (no dates) married Lucy Ransdell 1901 in Mercer Co., Ky.
She was daughter of W.H. Ransdell
They had 5 sons:
Curtis P. Black
Floyd Black
Clarence Black
Ernest Black
William A. (Bill) Black

(2) William Arthur Black, b. January 03, 1920 in Lawrenceburg, Ky, and d.October
31, 1973, in Lawrenceburg, Ky. He married Nancy Bates. He was killed
during a robbery of his restaurant, Lakeside Drive-In, on Halloween day
that year. His
wife and a waitress were taken hostage and kidnapped in the back of a
pick up
truck and later released in a bus terminal. She died in 1986 with cancer.

I realize that I have major date gaps and missing information, but my living
resources are limited as you can see.

Any help would be appreciated.
