Some of this does not exactly coincide with information I got from the
Freestone Co. History Book. Neither are "documented" facts, having been
written by family members such as you and I, in an effort to give all
the history known. I am particularly interested in JOHN BLACK, who is
said to be BENJAMIN BLAIR BLACK's father, and ALEXANDER F. BLACK (b
1825-1829 MS, says census), who may be the uncle this Alexander Black is
named for. I have been trying to tie Benjamin and Alexander together for
some time, I hope someone can add to this data. I have quite a bit of
information on the descendants to these two men, and would love to find
more family.
