Hi All,

Can you help me I'm looking for the parent and siblings of Harold John
Black, born 30 May 1885, Oshkosh, Winnebago, WI. His mother name is
Harriet, had a least two brothers by the name of Harvey and Robert and one
sister Hattie (Harriet).

I have tried the 1890 census, but theirs is one that was lost in the fires.
Harold left home by the time he was 10 so that leaves out the 1900 census.
I have found a family that fits for names in the 1880 census but can not
make a match for sure.

I have tried sending for his birth records but nothing there either.

Try the social security death index. With a birth of 1890, Harold may have
made it to the Social Security system. If he is there you can get his SS5
application form (if you don't mind waiting till the year 2000).
