Ray I am new at this. Just retired and trying to put together something for my grandkids. My GGrandfather was John Tobias Beams born Tuscaloosa, Alabama Feb. 1876 wife Lavadia. My GGGrandfather was John Belton Beams born Jan, 1832. His parents according to the 1900 census were born in South Carolina. His wife was Bashie McCrackin. They are buried at the Moore's Bridge Cemetery in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. John Belton was wounded in the Civil War and walked with a limp. Any help would be appreciated.
