Barbara, I was hot to trot a couple of years ago BUT I ran into a stone wall
after loosing all chances of going beyond my great great grandfather.A lady named Jean Blackman
spent months tracing Sterlin(Starlin) Bartlett before she gave ip. She published and article
on my family, Jim may have a copy.I am James W. Jr.,next James W., nextThomas, next the father of 23 children(forgot his name) and Starlin.None of these show in you e mail.Wish I could add something to

I, too, am descended from Thomas & Patience; thru their son, William, then
William's son, Thomas (1733-1817. This has been confirmed via DNA. Which of
William's offspring are you descended from & what do you know of the Family's
migration to Kentucky at that time? I have some conflicting information, but
have confirmed my line from John Bartlett (1766-1835), to Anthony John Bartlett
(1808-1877), to Albert Hall Bartlett (1844-1886), to Albert Jessamine Bartlett
(1871-1950), to Hugh Weakley Bartlett (1915-1985), to me, William Edward
Bartlett (born 1945). My conflict arises from having found no physical records
to confirm that Thomas (1733-1817) had a son named John (1766-1835). Records do
indicate that Thomas (1733-1817) died in an adjoining county, Henry County, KY,
so we do know he was in the area. John (1766-1835) died with a will recorded in
another adjoining county, Franklin County, KY.
Please advise if you have any info that would shred some light on this dilema.
