According to the census records from 1900 to 1850, John H/K Barringer, b Nov 1886, was the son of George M. and Sarah ( ) Barringer. George b Dec 1848 and Sarah Dec 1846. George was the son of Henry Barringer b abt 1820/1 and Maria ( ). about 1824. I would think this Barringer line would go back to John Paul Barringer the early settler in North Carolina.
