Small world, we lived in Elmira when I was a child, what a nice town. My mother didn't know there were Barringers there. I will be visiting home (st. Mary's) next month, and will attempt to gather more family info. I'll keep you posted.
My grandfather (Charles) died 30 yrs ago, and there aren't may left who paid attention to the family history, but I intend to interrogate them all :)
