George Bearinger /Berringer/Barringer 16 Nov 1786 - 27 Aug 1861 Buried in Cemetery Of Flatlands Mennonite Meetinghouse, Bucks Co. I am not certain how George ties into my ancestor who is David Bearinger 1794?-1849 who was married to a Sarah Smith and who came to Canada before 1812 from PA. They were documented as Mennonites.

Spouse: Catherine Meyers Landes (4 Dec 1795 -______ ). Buried in Cemetery Of Flatlands Mennonite Meetinghouse, Bucks County, PA.

20 Oct 1816 Marriage: Catherine Meyers Landes (1795- ). in Tohickon Reformed Church, Bedminster Township, Bucks County, PA.

? Daughter born (#1): Anna Landes Bearinger. 18 Oct 1820

20 Mar 1824 Daughter born (#2): Sarah Landes Bearinger (1824- ). Buried in Cemetery Of East Swamp Mennonite, Bucks County, PA.

Son born (#4): William Bearinger (1820-1870). Died on 3 Dec 1870 in Deep Run Mennonite Cemetery, Bedminster Twp., Bucks Co., PA.

? Daughter born (#5): Daughter Landes Bearinger.
? Daughter born (#6): Daughter Landes Bearinger.

11 Dec 1826 Daughter born (#7): Mary (Baringer) Bearinger (1826-1895). Died on 16 Jun 1895.

I can confirm that Landis was a well known Mennonite name in the 1600's right thru to today in Switzerland and Pennsylvania. Shellenberger is also a well established Mennonite name.
