Hello Ross, Hope my email finds you and yours in the best of everything. Just wondering if you could do a favor for me. Seeing that we connect through Conrad Barringer, is there a chance that you would be able to find for me any and all records on my gr gr grandfather Horatio Barringer, born 1846, son of Andrew Uline Barringer and Catharine Sharp Barringer? Horatio married Sarah (Sara) Simmons Barringer, born 1843 Troy, Renss. County, NY; died 2 Aug. 1887 West Troy (Now Watervliet, Albany Co., NY) and buried in Wynantskill Rural Cem. according to her death certificate. There is about 20 years that I cannot find anything on Sarah or Horatio. Maybe it is possible that they traveled west from New York State. The time period I can not find here is 1850, 1855, 1860, and 1865, with no marriage record. Records show that an infant child of theirs is buried here in Rensselaer County, NY but I cannot find a burial or death record of the infant who was buried in Sept. 1868.
Any help at your end would be appreciated.
