I've just started researching through family letters and pictures. We're of the Barringer line from southern Illinois. My father is Lloyd ; grandfather Loy Edwin; great grandfather Adolphus; great-great grandfather Jonathan. I have all the dates of their lives and that Jonathan was in the civil war and was born in Jacksonville, Illinois. Later he married Sarah E. Raines and moved to Galatia, Illinois, where we all were born.
Adolphus had a sister Lou. Lou was later living in Marion, Il Also have reference to a Emma, Harry, Ell,Leeman, Arty, Mamie, Oscar, Rela, and Allie
