Hi:

I've been searching for information through several areas (e.g. Roots Web, GenForum, etc) for information on the following family.

William Barringer m Elizabeth Buffington (d/o Joseph & Chloe Harvey Buffington).

Their grandson, William Asa (b 1856) married Elizabeth Stricklett in 1877. They had several children: Leonidas, Hugh, Alverta, Eugene, and William. Leonidas, Eugene, and William had children. I am looking for any decendants of these boys.

Additionally, I am looking for information on the ancestors of William Barringer. I know he came from the Hagerstown, MD area which is very close to parts of VA and PA. According to his obituary, his father was Joseph and his grandfather was John Paul of Philiadelphia (do not believe this is the same John Paul that went to NC as he did not have a son named Joseph.)

In any case...any help would be appreciated.
