I think that my great grandfather, John Barrenger, was the son of George Barringer and Mary Matthews of Surrey Eng. He was born 1813. There were two other brothers, George and Robert. John (then called Ballinger) was transported to Tasmania in 1841 and spent the rest of his life there. I wonder if there are any Barringers on this list who are connected?
