Hi...I have been spending quite a bit of time researching this Barringer family. The Jacob that you mentioned had a brother Frederich who settled in Wynantskill, NY. Frederich married Anna M Zufeld and had a son David...who then had a son Philip...who then had a son Asaph C. Asaph married Mary A and they had a son Charles who was my ggrandfather...Charles had a daughter Mary in Troy, NY and she was my grandmother. She died in April 1999 at the age of 110! If you are interested in this 'branch', I would love to hear from you to give and receive info........kathy
