Hello,

I just got the PA. Death Certificate on my g, grandfather, William
Barringer; and, I am hoping that now that I can give his parents names maybe
someone on the list will recognize my info.

William was born December 11, 1838 at Houston Run. I believe that must be
in PA. William died at Monongahela, PA. on September 17, 1906.

William's parents were: George Barringer b. in Fayette Co. and Mary b. PA.

As I have stated in previous postings, William first married a Mary Ann Rose
who died in 1879. They had a son John W. b. 1870.

William married Ida Mae Landis in 1888, and had two daughters; Sarah Ellen,
(my grandmother); and Laura Ety.

William served the full time in the Civil War and was discharged at
Vicksburg.

I certainly hope that someone knows of a George Barringer with a wife named
Mary with a son William.
