Better late than never--here are my PA. BARRINGERs (although they're
actually BARNINGER or BERNINGER):

According to a biography of the husband of Edna BERNINGER-KLINE of
Columbia Co., PA, in the History of Columbia and Montour Counties:

Nicholas BERNINGER, born and married in Saxony, Germany, emigraed to the
U.S. (about 1750) settled in Longswamp Twp., Berks Co., PA, where he
died.
Son, Philip BERNINGER married Salome YOST and in 1812 moved to
Roaringcredk Valley, Columbia Co. and had these children:

Philip, who married Mary MOORE
Jacob
Henry, who married Nancy ROHR
Jonas, b. 1800, Berks Co, married Ida Doracas YOST; ch: Angeline,
Israel.
Elizabeth, who married John WAGENHAUST
Mary, who married a MISSIMER

Israel, b. 1836, Northumberland Co., PA, married Barbara Ellen LONG,
had ch:
Charlotte, md. Andrew LYONS
Ida Dorcas, md. William LEWIS
Annie, md. D.C. GOTHIE
Fronie, md. William THOMAS
Catherine Rosalie, md. Harry McClow
Frances, md. H.B. SOWERS
Gertrude, md. Charles KUNTZ
