If I had only one with for what I want to find in 1999 for my
genealogy ---It would be to find out
and have proof of whether the wife of MARTIN HERCHE / HARKEY was really
named
CATHERINE BARRINGER Everyone says so and no one can prove it.
She must have been born about 1744 possibly in PA. Maybe somewhere else. She
was in Cabarrus Co.
NC by 1768 when Martin Harkey bought land from Mattias Barringer. My
thoughtsis that purchase of land is where the idea started that she was a
Barringer. I need proof she was or proof she wasn't.
