There are about 165 people on the just the Bradford list and close to
500 on all the other lists as of right now, give or take a few, (I have
to count them all by hand and math is my worst subject;) hehe) As far
as the donating for my birthday (Oct. 18th), that was a joke!:) but if
you do want to do something like that, I suggest that you donate money
to rootsweb in place of money I would normally send. I own 7 lists (but
only HAVE to pay for 5 because 2 were passed down to me, but I always
try to pay for the full 7) at a total of $12 per list and this year I
really don't think I'll be able to pay it all. I really could use help
here in paying. If you would like to do that, send a check and a note
saying that you are paying in behalf of me to:

Personally, I think everyone who uses any of rootsweb's services should
donate something to them, because this service is free to the users, but
Karen and Brain, the operators of rootsweb, have to pay out of their own
pockets what they don't get from donations to keep rootsweb alive -
nothing is completely free. The donations in part do help them
tremedously, but even last year, they had to pay around $4,000 out of
their own pocket! You can also use their secure browser to donate over

I know Brain and Karen would definately appreciate the help and I know I
will! It will be less worrying for me about where the money is going to
come from, that's for sure. If you decide to do that, let me know how
much you donated and I can subtract that from the total I owe them in
this year (at least $60) If you want to do that and still get me a
present, a computer is the top of my list:) hehe, just kidding!:)
