I am new to the Barringer mailing list and am providing my Barringer line for
the first time.

sp-McCoy, Samuel Henry b. Louisa Cty, Iowa 27 Sep 1842; d. Columbus City,

Although I lack proof, I believe Samuel Barringer was born in Meigs Cty, Ohio
to either the William Barringer family of Lebanon Twsp or George Barringer
family of Olive Twsp. Samuel Barringer and family emigrated to Louisa Cty,
Iowa about 1837 and were included in the 1840 Louisa Cty, Iowa census.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
