I have an email from a lady who says that on the shop "Patience" with Capt.
John Brown and on 16 September 1748 people who were on that ship took the
oath of allegience in Philadelphia and among them were ADAM Barringer age 26
and ANDREW Barringer age 25. She further states that an Adam was in
Maryland in 1790 census and an ANDREW and LAWRENCE were in the REV WAR in
Cumberland Co. PA. Do any of you have these Barringers or know if ADAM or
ANDREW had their wives with them or children.
