Erin, Thank you for starting this list. The HARKEY-L has been informed and
you will have more members shortly.
Martin Harkey living in Cabarrus NC was born poss. 1744-46 in PA. ?
Martin married Catherine Barringer. All genealogists who have traced the
family agree on this. I have searched Barringer and am almost positive that
this Catherine Barringer was not from the John Paul, George or Mathias
family .In other words she was not their sister nor was she a daughter to
any of those three.
Now I am looking for some other Barringer who had a daughter Catherine born
say 1750 + Any help or clues deeply appreciated.
