I am sending a follow up to a previous message. I am the daughter of Sammy Bankhead. He was the eldest son of Garnet Bankhead of Empire, Alabama. I know there are Banklhead family members that maybe still in Alabama, Michigan & New York. All of my father's brothers played in the Negro Baseball Leagues durieng the 30's 40's & 50's.
