I've come up with some new info on the Ballards in Montgomery co., NC.
 Because I got some data on later generations of Ballards other than mine, I
discovered a repeat of the name "Blake".  I also discovered where the error
"Brake" originated from.  

I have doubts that the middle name of James' daughter Abigail is really
"Spain" but don't know what it could be.  So this is what I have at this
time.  I do have further documentation on some of these.  This is what I have
