Subject: [BAGWELL-L] Re: Pam Bagwell's book

I called Robert Bagwell long distance and even mailed a check
for thirteen dollars, the price of the book. He also requested a
history of Flurney Bagwell and his descendants. I complied. He
never cashed the check nor did he send his information. I called
long distance to talk to him. His daughter informed me that he
had more important things to do with his time. Later I heard they
were going to do another book and include all the NEW information
they had. I did not even get a thank you. I never contacted them
again. I felt used.
The moral of this story is that some people will take all you have
and give nothing in return. The fun of genealogy is sharing. I enjoy
sharing but I also like to get something back.
