Hello All, I just joined the Ayer mailing list, so hello everyone. I am not sure how many people out there get this list, as traffic seems to be very slow. I have an Ayer Genealogy website that follows my line of Ayer's and goes into some decent detail. I have some images, and actual docuement scans that may be of interest to some out there. The url for the homepage is http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ayergenealogy/Index.htm As for my direct line and immigration patterns. I believe that we descended from Thomas Ayer (spelled Ayre at the time, I believe) son of John and Hannah. From my research, Thomas b. 1626 - England d. 1686 Haverhill MA. m. Elizabeth Hutchens. A very brief rundown of my line is below: Thomas's son, John (b. 1647 d. 1747 m. Hannah Travers) lived in Haverhill until 1695 where he moved to Stonington, Conn. where he was living in 1722. John's son David was born in Haverhill in 1693 and moved with Thomas to Conn. He died in Preston CT in 1773 after marring Margaret Porter. David's son John was born in Preston CT in 1756. He died in Corinth VT in 1811 after marring Elizabeth Thruston. John's son Issac was born in 1794 in either Corinth VT or New Hampshire. I am not sure on his death date or place, but he died around 1851. We know that Issac served in the War of 1812 in the state of Vermont. He moved to Ohio before 1840 with his family. He was married to Nancy McFarland and had 8 children in Ohio. Isaac is listed in the 1840 Meigs County ,Ohio Census, as well as theAid Township, Lawrence County Ohio in 1850. We know that his children and Nancy moved to Schuyler County Missouri around 1858. I assume that Isaac died either in Ohio or during the migration to Missouri. Issac's son John Addison Ayer was born in Meigs County Ohio in 1837 and died in Schuyler County Missouri in 1911. John's son Peter Monroe was born (1872) and died (1961) in Schuyler County Missouri. Peter's son Earl born (1911) and died (1986) in Schuyler County Missouri Earl's son Randall was born in Appanoose County Iowa and is still living. Randall's son Janson (me) was born in Adair County Missouri. Of course I have birth dates, death dates, occupation data ect on most everyone in my line. I also have quite a bit of info on the first few generations that spanned from John and Hannah. I am interested in your feedback on the site, as well as any other information that someone may have who is researching the same line(s)

Best,
Janson Ayer
