Nila G. Muesing-Smith 86, passed away, Mon., Nov. 7, 2005. She was born on Dec. 6, 1918 to Walter Clinton and Neva Marie Ayer. She was a real estate agent 10 years for McClain Matthews and 20 years for F.C. Tucker. Prior to that she was a pricing clerk eight years at Eli Lilly & Co. Nila was a member of the Southport Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two sons, Mark A. Muesing and I. Christopher Muesing; three grandchildren, Aaron, Barbara and Samuel Muesing; three sisters, Marie Lockhart, Ellen Schroder and Elda Holder. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Irvin Muesing; second husband Kenneth Smith and her sister Ethel Ayer. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2005 at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
