I need help trying to determine how the Ayer line ties into my Multer line. Originally, I thought the Peter Multer was my direct ancestor, but after learning his birthdate, the two no longer make sense. Perhaps my ancestor Peter "Sr" had a son named Peter; I know that he had a son Jacob Peter Multer.

Does this line sound familiar to anyone? I know that Margaret was a daughter of the famous Frederick Ayer, who was killed at the Battle of Oriskany.
